Tech , Operations Facilities Maintenance

The Custodian is responsible for performing various housekeeping duties inside and on the grounds of the facility. This associate ensures that the facility is in condition to operate across multiple shifts.

• Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in orderly fashion.
• Required to document all cleaning activities per SOP guidelines.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory of housekeeping supplies and entering supply orders.
• Responsible for running the floor scrubber and some MHE.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other positions to assist in times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation.

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Experience in general housekeeping and light maintenance, preferred.

• Ability to operate MHE (Material Handling Equipment).
• General knowledge of housekeeping equipment, chemicals, products, and techniques.
• Ability to perform light general facility maintenance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and process efficiency skills.
• Strong initiative and drive for results.

The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all. Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE in a manufacturing/distribution environment.

The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
