EVS Porter - 1st Shift

Purpose:

As an EVS Porter, you will protect public health and the environment by operating and maintaining services such as waste management, water, wastewater, and environmental compliance in a safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant manner.

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Maintain the highest standards to ensure the detail quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms and other required areas.
• Operate various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment.
• Contain and clean biohazardous materials.
• Replenish supplies when necessary.

• Performs other job-related duties as requested.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays (Required).
• Experience with professional cleaning equipment (Preferred).
• Knowledge of various floor surfaces and the processes (Preferred).
• Experience in a similar five-star/five-diamond resort environment (Preferred).

• Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions; this also includes being aware of unsafe conditions such as spills, wet areas, debris, and addressing quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
• Effective listening abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.
