Housekeeping Position

Location:

6201 Clough Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244

Responsibilities
  • Clean common living areas and resident apartments, with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
  • Oversee cleaning of the entire facility; maintain common area and resident bathroom cleanliness.
  • Complete maintenance request reports when needed.
  • Report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Operate laundry equipment when required.
  • Report inadequate quantities of supplies needed to perform duties.
  • Use approved cleaning products and ensure all cleaning supplies are properly stored.
  • Clean office areas as assigned.
  • Dust and clean window blinds, furniture, bookshelves, and other items in resident apartments and common areas.
  • Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.
  • Keep resident bathrooms clean.
  • Clean apartments during resident move‑out.
  • Attend required in‑services and staff meetings.
  • Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality, following all policies regarding release of resident information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Housekeeping experience highly desired.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
  • Team player, works well with others.
  • Polite and courteous to residents, visitors, co‑workers, and management.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push, pull for extended periods; lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects up to 20 feet.
  • Wear designated uniform during work hours and maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
