Building Services Worker
Position Summary:
The Building Services Worker cleans, sanitizes, and maintains the appearance of Athletic Facilities, providing discretion when utilizing and maintaining assigned spaces.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred:
Knowledge of cleaning materials; ability to operate vacuum cleaners/shampoo machine; ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and wax floors.
- Dust and clean chalk boards and offices.
- Wash windows, walls, trash cans, and glass doors.
- Empty trash.
- Frequently work from a ladder.
- Replace light bulbs.
- Clean and polish brass.
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Operate polishing machine and vacuum cleaner.
- Clean assigned team meeting and locker rooms.
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Percentage of time: 35% general duties, 20% restroom/supplies, 20% machine operation, 20% locker rooms, 5% other duties.
Physical Demands- Stoop, squat, and bend.
- Climb ladders.
- Lift 25 lbs or more.
- Drive as needed to perform job duties.
