Position Summary:

The Building Services Worker cleans, sanitizes, and maintains the appearance of Athletic Facilities, providing discretion when utilizing and maintaining assigned spaces.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of cleaning materials; ability to operate vacuum cleaners/shampoo machine; ability to understand written and verbal instructions.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and wax floors.
• Dust and clean chalk boards and offices.
• Wash windows, walls, trash cans, and glass doors.
• Empty trash.
• Frequently work from a ladder.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Clean and polish brass.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Operate polishing machine and vacuum cleaner.
• Clean assigned team meeting and locker rooms.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Percentage of time: 35% general duties, 20% restroom/supplies, 20% machine operation, 20% locker rooms, 5% other duties.

• Stoop, squat, and bend.
• Climb ladders.
• Lift 25 lbs or more.
• Drive as needed to perform job duties.
