Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.

• Basic rigging, come-along, etc.
• Thread metal pipe, conduit
• Cut pipe, conduit, metal, wood
• Material handling
• Fork truck and pickup truck driving
• Use basic tools and care of the tools
• Use of hand electric power tools and pneumatic tools
• Assist mechanics in assembly and work performance, demolition, cleaning, removing debris
• Building and ground maintenance
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

• Entry Level
• Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of fire protecting, different types of metals, bearings, mechanical seals, tandem seals, compression packing, multi-stage pumps, vertical pumps, different types of drive coupling, cooling tower fan units, gearboxes, and agitators

• Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions
