Job SummaryThe DLP Teacher is responsible for implementing an instructional program so that students with intellectual and multiple disabilities can access their education and receive educational benefit. The DLP Teacher will be responsible for facilitation of inclusion and mainstreaming activities for DLP students, as well as the facilitation of computer, language, literacy, and math activities.
QualificationsHold a registered, valid Illinois Professional Educators License with LBS I/Special Education PK-21 endorsement/Highly Qualified status, as required. Experience working with students with behavior/emotional disabilities, multiple disabilities, deaf and hard of hearing, and/or autism preferred, but not required
Salary InformationCertified Salary Range Per CBA: $61,406 - $83,386 (+ longevity)-depends on experience
