Overview

Cromwell Public Schools is looking for a School Custodian I for Edna

C. Stevens to maintain the daily cleaning of a facility as assigned and, when needed, to provide for the periodic operation of the facility during the absence of the Building Maintainer. This includes responsibilities related to the building’s cleanliness, structural safety, systems equipment, product delivery, and direction of visiting public.

• Work 40 hours per week. During the school year, hours are 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. During the summer months, hours may shift to a day schedule.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure the facility meets applicable standards.
• Provide, if assigned, coverage for the Building Maintainer and assist with building cleanliness, safety, equipment, and the direction of visiting public as required.

Salary and benefits as outlined in the MEIU-Custodians Contract.
