Technician Position NW Indiana

Pete and Sons Auto Repair in Crown Point, Indiana is looking for an Automotive Technician, this current position is for either an “A” level tech or “B” level tech. The pay is commission based with a modest hour guarantee and fair production bonus. The building is heated by oil furnace as well as heated floors and was a comfortable 70 degrease as I left work today, This is a small family owned facility that take a lot of pride in their building as well as in the shop equipment, If something is needed to complete a job correctly and safely it is always provided, as well as shop tools that get upgraded every 3-5 years.

This post is bittersweet to write as the position I am advertising for is my own, I'm making a career shift out of the Technician role and into a career that better suits my interests (still within the automotive world). I can say that in the 6 years I've worked with these folks I've always been treated fairly and with compassion, I hate to use the words family and work together due to the bad connotation that brings sometimes, but here I've always felt like family.
