Job Description

The Facilities Personnel is responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, groundskeeping, inspections, and general facility support. This position works as part of the Facility Team and reports to Administration and/or the designated facilities supervisor.

The ideal candidate is reliable, practical, safety-conscious, and able to identify maintenance needs and take appropriate action within the scope of their training and responsibilities.

This is a 0.5 FTE, part-time position that is well suited for an individual who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, is a positive team-player, and is comfortable responding to a variety of building, grounds, and maintenance needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for vehicles and equipment required for the position, with no serious violations.
• Three years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in several areas of facility maintenance, such as:

• Plumbing
• Painting
• Carpentry
• Masonry, concrete, or tile
• Electrical
• Mechanical systems
• HVAC
• Roof repair
• Plastering or spackling
• Field and playground maintenance
• Furniture repair
• Small engine repair
• Ability to safely operate and maintain tools, vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond appropriately to changing needs.
