Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift and 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain key machinery and systems such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and compressors.
• Perform regular checks to prevent problems and keep equipment running efficiently.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and keep production moving.
• Maintain a clean & safe facility, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general upkeep such as painting, cleaning, grounds maintenance, mowing, and snow removal.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT procedures, OSHA, EPA, and GMPs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to solve problems and improve performance.
• Assist with new equipment installation and special projects to improve efficiency, safety, and plant operations.
• Organize tools, parts, and supplies; assist with product transport across the plant.

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment, or 4 years’ direct experience in a similar environment.
• Or vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree in maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of personnel and contractors.
• Must be able to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
• Strong ability to read, execute work orders, write daily reports, and understand equipment manuals.

• Competitive starting pay: $29.16 – $41.87 per hour.
• $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.
