Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of experience in grounds maintenance, facilities maintenance, landscaping, maintenance services, or related hands-on work. Possess a valid driver’s license. Must meet Park Board employment and physical standards, which includes a background check, drug and alcohol screening. Experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and aptitude to perform the defined duties.

Performance Responsibilities- Maintains the overall cleanliness, safety, functionality, and appearance of the entire RV Resort property, including all campsites, entrances, roadways, landscaped areas, recreation areas, trails, disc golf course and common spaces.
- Serves as the primary responder for guest maintenance-related service calls, addressing site, utility, safety, or grounds-related concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Performs routine inspections of campsites, grounds, utilities, and facilities to proactively identify and address maintenance issues before they impact guest experience.
- Assists with preventative maintenance, seasonal preparation, cleanup, and special projects related to grounds and facilities upkeep.
- Represents the Palomino brand while providing a high level of customer service to visitors and guests.
- Works closely with new guests to ensure all questions are accurately answered and they have a clear understanding of resort procedures and conduct rules.
- Assists facility management in handling guest concerns or conflicts related to maintenance or site.
- Accurately reports use of facilities by ensuring all visitors and guests check in when entering the facility.
- Escorts guest leads on tours, communicating the features and benefits of the resort.
- Assists with front desk opening and closing procedures as assigned to support daily operations.
- Maintains persistent check of front desk money handling standards to ensure standards are in keeping with CPRST Cash Handling Policy and Procedures.
- Answers phone calls in professional manner, answers questions, and connects call to appropriate staff member or manager when necessary.
- Provides front desk coverage on an as-needed, stand-in basis when directed by the Palomino RV Resort Director.
- Maintains professional internal and external relationships in keeping with CPRST core values.
- Works with team members in order to reach monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
- Establishes and maintains sound business and financial procedures in accordance with Federal and State laws, and CPRST system policies.
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism and ethics working amicably with the Park Board, the Executive Director, Administrators, Supervisors, Personnel and Community.
- Exhibits proficiency in written and oral communication.
- Attends all meetings as required by superiors.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor(s) or manager(s).
The work area is well lighted, ventilated, and heated. Occasionally work is outdoors where there is a potential to be exposed to various weather conditions.
Physical DemandsWork is performed both inside and outside and requires the physical and mental ability to multi-task, interact with guests, and operate basic office equipment. Work also requires moderate lifting and the ability to walk, stand, bend, and sit while performing various job duties.
