Restoration Technician

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment and supplies needed for each project, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and equipment.
• Prepare rooms and areas for work activities, including moving furniture, setting up containment, and placing equipment that may weigh up to 100 lbs.
• Perform production processes as directed, such as using power tools to remove drywall, flooring, insulation and cabinetry.
• Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
• Communicate with crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform end‑of‑day cleanup and breakdown to leave the job site clean and orderly.
• Learn to use monitoring technology and mitigation software.

• Basic math skills.
• Experience in cleaning or restoration preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
• Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
