Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, equipment reliability, facilities, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) programs within a growing manufacturing facility.
This position is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, developing the maintenance team, supporting capital projects, and driving a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who enjoys working on the plant floor while building and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all maintenance operations with a strong commitment to safety.
- Drive equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Manage and develop the maintenance team through coaching and training.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment and facility issues while minimizing downtime.
- Lead equipment installations, facility improvements, and capital projects.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and maintenance resources.
- Oversee maintenance inventory, shop organization, and equipment documentation.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Plant Leadership to achieve operational goals.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced operation.
- Strong background in equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing capital projects, vendors, and outside contractors.
- Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Reliability-Centered Maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience managing Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) programs.
