Salary: $22.00/hr

Working hours:

M-F 8am-5pm

The assistant will be responsible for developing the activities of receiving products, placing them in the warehouse, delivering them to transporters for distribution, preparing orders, and performing additional duties as necessary or requested.

• Review and understand work job order specifications and instructions with management prior to the beginning of the job.
• Follow the specifications for identification, storage and assembly of pallets.
• Carry out tasks to control the entry and exit of product from the inventory.
• Stay within target time range for assigned work
• Package and wrap goods for appropriate shipment on a daily basis.
• Load and enlistment of the national dispatches according to the orders.
• Daily receiving and stocking of all inbound product.
• Maintain cleanliness and assure proper functioning of the equipment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/ or safety procedures.
• Receive, safeguard and report the receipt of material and supplies for marketing and sales.
• Efficiently operate equipment such as forklifts, bridge cranes, pallet trucks, complying with occupational health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Maintain an equipment checklist and coordinate preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

• Strong speaking and writing communication skills in English/Spanish.
• High School Diploma required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in warehouse operations is required, with strong proficiency in operating reach truck equipment. Experience with forklifts is beneficial; however, primary emphasis is placed on reach truck operation due to its critical role in high rack storage, inventory organization, and safe handling of materials during loading and unloading processes.
• 1 year of experience operating a forklift.
• 6 months of experience working in inventory.
• Familiar with Microsoft office.
• Work authorization in the United States is required.
