Sanitation - Swing Shift

Job Title

Since 1984 Meduri Farms has grown to become a premier supplier of specialty dried fruits to food manufacturers around the world. Our operations are located 60 miles southwest of Portland in Oregon's agriculturally fertile Willamette Valley.

This position is responsible for cleaning of all equipment and facilities in the company.

Perform the cleaning and sanitizing for the company's equipment and ensure its cleanliness. Keep the grounds and buildings clean and ensure the cleanliness of the grounds and buildings. Perform the cleaning of the offices and conference rooms and ensure its cleanliness. Perform the cleaning of the restrooms and lunchrooms and ensure its cleanliness. Assure that all pallets going into production are in good condition.

Record all information on proper documents daily. Provide support to other positions as questions and concerns arise. Work closely with other departments in a respectful and professional manner. Communicate with Supervisor if any situations arise that may require additional attention. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

$16 per hour plus $2 shift differential

No prior experience or training is required. Ability to read and write in Spanish or English. Ability to perform tasks properly and promptly with little supervision. Organizational skills – have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Team player attitude with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation. Flexibility – as hours and shift might change (when staffing shortages)

Loud and occasionally hot manufacturing environment with occasional use of high rise platforms. Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift and be able to repeatedly lift 30lbs and up to 50 lbs. Doesn't care if they are wet and/or dirty
