Utility Locator

As a utility locator, you will be responsible for completing all assigned tasks by their due dates. Tasks include accurately locating and marking required underground utilities, specifically fiber and copper communication lines, taking clear photos of markings, and updating supervisors of completed tasks with important notes.

• Adhere to company policies.
• Ensure that all devices are properly working daily.
• Ability to read and understand Utility Drawings and maps.
• Ability to walk 3 to 5 miles a day if needed while carrying equipment.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions.
• Ability to learn new devices.
• Update supervisor/manager of any issues or problems in the field.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1 to 2 years line locating experience is preferred.
• Able to read and comprehend utility drawings and/or maps.
• 1 year computer skills (Preferred).
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Strong time management skills.
• Must have/maintain a valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening.
• Schedule:
  
  M-F and available for weekend work as needed.

Pay: Hourly plus overtime and a company provided vehicle.
