Customer Service Representative / Warehouse Worker

Florida Tile, Inc. is looking for an energetic Customer Service Representative / Warehouse Worker to join our family‑friendly team. SUMMARY: This role is responsible for all inventory handling functions and processing customer orders received in person, by telephone, fax or internet. The associate will work closely with the Branch Manager (or Branch Operations Manager) and other branch associates as needed to maintain inventory, receive and ship goods, and provide excellent customer service.

• Accurately prepare orders by pulling material from stock.
• Participate in the shipping of company goods to customers.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and process paperwork and signatures.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Pull orders via pick ticket and manage the pick ticket process.
• Load and unload delivery trucks for receiving stock and preparing for transport.
• Participate in physical inventory to verify stock and identify gains/losses.
• Clean warehouse to maintain a safe and sanitary workplace.
• Perform order entry process, including product, quantity and price verification.
• Confirm orders placed by customers via phone/fax/internet.
• Perform stock and price checks for customers and other branches.
• Provide freight/shipment information (cost/tracking/etc) to customers/branches timely and accurately.
• Apply freight and handling expenses to orders so customers can be invoiced for related expenses.
• Follow up regularly with customers about the status of their order(s).
• Additional duties as assigned.

• At least two years of inventory handling and experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and schedules with little supervision.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Flooring or tile industry experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
