Sales & Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Analyze customers' machines at their site to diagnose problems and independently recommend solutions via service or equipment sales.
• Survey customers' machines to establish baseline on existing efficiencies, analyze potential productivity gains and savings, present to customer and independently implement.
• Install new machines to meet manufacturers installation standards.
• Work with National Market Manager(s) to propose new machines to existing and new customer base.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are complete.
• Provide monthly reporting of activities and billing to National Automation Service Manager.
• Attend service trainings as required to stay up-to-date on latest technologies and offerings.
• Work within a team atmosphere with other regional technicians.

• High School Diploma / GED required;
  Technical Degree in Electronics preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
• Five (5) years experience in an electrical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Welding or cutting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer or PC skills required.
• Will require occasional overnight/weeklong travel.
• Can travel approximately 50%
