Installation Technician, Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Analyze customers' machines at their site to diagnose problems and independently recommend solutions via service or equipment sales.
- Survey customers' machines to establish baseline on existing efficiencies, analyze potential productivity gains and savings, present to customer and independently implement.
- Install new machines to meet manufacturers installation standards.
- Work with National Market Manager(s) to propose new machines to existing and new customer base.
- Ensure equipment is in safe working condition once repairs are complete.
- Provide monthly reporting of activities and billing to National Automation Service Manager.
- Attend service trainings as required to stay up-to-date on latest technologies and offerings.
- Work within a team atmosphere with other regional technicians.
- High School Diploma / GED required;
Technical Degree in Electronics preferred. - Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
- Five (5) years experience in an electrical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Welding or cutting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and computer or PC skills required.
- Will require occasional overnight/weeklong travel.
- Can travel approximately 50%
