Maintenance Tech II; Mechanic​/Electrical

Position: Maintenance Tech II (Mechanic/Electrical)
Job Overview:

The Mechanic II performs intermediate-level maintenance and repair work on facility and production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role requires solid technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and the ability to independently complete assigned maintenance tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

Troubleshoot and repair moderate mechanical and electrical issues.

Calibrate, adjust, and align components for optimal performance.

Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure timely completion of work orders.

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.

Assist in training entry-level mechanics and promoting best safety practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and basic electrical systems.

Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment.

Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
