Position: Maintneance Lead / Supervisor

CVG Properties is looking for a skilled, customer service-oriented, hands‑on Maintenance Lead Supervisor to join our Dallas Team and lead our maintenance efforts on two newer communities (196 units total) located in the Lower Greenville and Oak Lawn neighborhoods of Dallas.

Magnolia at West Lemmon (153 Units)

Magnolia on Matilda (43 units)

As the Maintenance Lead/Supervisor, you will work closely with the Community Manager basing your daily efforts out of our West Lemmon community, but will coordinate, work on, and travel between the communities as necessary to lead all day‑to‑day maintenance operations.

Who You Are

An experienced Maintenance Supervisor or Technician who understands, or can see the value, benefit, and stability of working directly with an owner/operator to proactively manage the maintenance efforts on our communities, wants to have your voice heard, and has a desire to help shape the direction and success of both our communities and the company.

What You'll Do

You'll set the standard for maintenance quality and the condition of every community you oversee. Day to day, that means:

  • Leading, scheduling, and supporting maintenance across your communities, setting the standard for quality and responsiveness.
  • Overseeing work orders and service requests at each property, ensuring timely, high-quality resolution.
  • Managing unit turns to keep make‑readies on schedule and on standard.
  • Performing and directing repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and flooring.
  • Daily inspection of the community grounds, buildings, and common area amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness standards and to identify issues requiring maintenance, repair or replacement.
  • Coordinating vendors and contractors and helping manage the maintenance budget and inventory.
  • Promoting customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal and interacting courteously and professionally with current and potential customers at all times.
  • Conducting pre‑move‑in and post‑move‑out apartment inspections and ensuring timely completion of quality unit turns.
  • Running preventative maintenance programs - pool, lighting, sprinklers, exteriors, and more.
  • Managing the on‑call rotation and leading the response to after‑hours and emergencies.
  • Traveling between the communities to coordinate coverage and keep work on track.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience, including lead or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong skills across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC; EPA/HVAC certification preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus.
  • A positive, service‑first attitude and pride in your work.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between communities.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of building codes, pool logs, and safety requirements.
  • Comfort with property management software and technology
    - Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Yardi experience is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Availability to share in the on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies, including some evenings and weekends.

Salary range (hourly): $27/hour - $36+/hour depending on experience
