Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician (FST) is a trusted Cambria ambassador of service who is responsible for exceptional on-site service to our residential and commercial clients, by providing customer service, assessing customer concerns, and performing finish work where applicable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Travel to customer sites to evaluate product related claims, deliver outstanding customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to the customers' needs
- Inspect claims thoroughly, gather necessary details, take photographs, and provide complete and timely documentation of findings and work performed
- Articulate service solutions and options while setting proper expectations
- Perform on-site repairs using Cambria's approved standards, techniques, and materials, maintaining a high level of quality workmanship
- Arrive on time to appointments, complete tasks within expected time frames, and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the team
- Partner and communicate effectively with the Regional Product Representative about the site visit and product findings
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent working condition and ensure a professional appearance at all times
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently
- Accurate color perception is required
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
- Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence
- Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check in accordance with Cambria's standards
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1 year of experience in a field service, customer service or trade position preferred
Systems:
Google Suites, Salesforce, ability to read technical drawings/documents is a plus
Managerial Requirements: N/A
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily, drive for long periods. Must be able to stand, bend, and twist while performing service work.
Travel Requirements:
Daily local travel. Overnight travel is also required
Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position will be provided a branded company vehicle, based on fleet availability, or temporary mileage reimbursement in lieu until a vehicle becomes available.
