This is a leadership role responsible for driving equipment reliability, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and leading maintenance operations within a high-volume production environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, proven team leadership, and experience managing maintenance operations in automated manufacturing settings.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance activities across the facility and will be responsible for:
- Equipment uptime and reliability
- Preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Maintenance team leadership and development
- CMMS management and reporting
- Maintenance budgeting and cost control
- Root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency and production continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage maintenance technicians and supervisors
- Implement and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Manage CMMS systems for work orders, scheduling, and performance tracking
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing best practices
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
Qualifications
- 7+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge
- Experience with industrial controls, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and drives preferred
- Proficiency with CMMS and ERP systems
- Experience managing and tracking maintenance budgets
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred
Mattress or similar manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
