Service Technician – Dallas, TX (New Service Center, 2439 Irving Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207)
We are looking for passionate, customer‑focused self‑starters to launch a world‑class service operation from the ground up, ensuring a superior ownership experience for our growing Lucid community.
Job Overview
As a Service Technician you will diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining an excellent client experience. ASE certification is required and will be reimbursed upon completion.
Responsibilities- Repair basic and major mechanical issues and conduct comprehensive electrical and mechanical diagnoses.
- Maintain current knowledge of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems.
- Adhere to correct repair order documentation procedures (e.g., The Three C’s).
- Utilize the appropriate software suite to fully document all customer vehicle interactions.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with advisory, managerial, and customer contacts.
- Teach technical skills and knowledge to peers and new staff.
- Deliver meticulous attention to detail while fostering positive client relationships.
- Support remote and mobile service teams as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2–5 years experience as an automotive service technician, with experience in EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
- Proficiency with High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and electric vehicle powertrains.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer‑facing experience.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary DMS software.
- EPA 609 certification.
- Willingness to complete Lucid‑provided CPR training after hire.
- Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; drivers under 21 must have held a license for at least three years and complete Lucid training upon hire.
- ASE certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 – ADAS).
- Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.
