Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift - Dallas, TX

Salary: $22 to $35 per hour

Shift Differential

Facilities Maintenance Technician – Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital – 2nd Shift

Performs a variety of basic maintenance functions. This is a 2nd shift position: 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Assists in making decisions on all minor and routine repairs.
• Maintains equipment; performs minor equipment repairs using power and hand tools.
• Performs a variety of other unskilled or semi‑skilled tasks such as minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, lamp changing and drywall maintenance.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds and completes maintenance work orders, tests and inspections.
• Reads, comprehends and transmits complicated detailed instructions verbally and in writing.

• 1–3 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks using a work order system.
• Experience with minor drywall and flooring.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Generator monitoring – remote notification system.
• Text alerts and responding to generators running.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record.
