Job Description

Performs a combination of duties which may include janitorial, housekeeping, general labor, facility, laundry and food services. Works within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures, under immediate supervision.

Performs a combination of duties which may include janitorial, housekeeping, general labor, facility, laundry and food services. Works within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures, under immediate supervision.

• Performs janitorial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, stripping and waxing floors and common areas using various equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Performs general manual labor duties such as moving furniture, file cabinets, equipment and supplies.
• Assists with laundry duties, including washing, folding, sorting, and storing.
• Receives and maintains inventory of food items, clothing, bedding and other supplies.
• Monitors and inspects facility and equipment and identifies remedies and/or reports to management any related health, safety and security concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Training:
Completion of eighth (8th) grade from an accredited school or additional equivalent work experience.

Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to operate vehicles, buffers, vacuums, lifts or other equipment to complete assigned tasks. Must pass criminal background check. (Juvenile:
Mandatory drug testing prior to employment, and will be subject to random, unannounced drug and/or alcohol testing during employment).

Physical/Environmental Requirements
Requires prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing and ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs., unassisted.
