Grounds Engineer

Marriott is seeking a Grounds Engineer I to help maintain our hotel's exterior areas and support basic facility maintenance. In this entry-level role, you will perform landscaping, groundskeeping, and minor repair tasks while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Working with the engineering team, you'll assist with inspections, preventive maintenance, and seasonal projects. Responsibilities

• Perform routine groundskeeping, landscaping, and exterior upkeep of hotel property
• Assist with basic engineering and maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas
• Inspect and report facility issues, safety hazards, and repair needs to engineering leadership
• Support preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Operate and maintain tools, lawn equipment, and small machinery safely
• Respond to guest service requests related to facilities and grounds in a timely, courteous manner
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, irrigation checks, and exterior lighting
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and comply with Marriott safety and security standards
