Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Lead

Overview

We are currently seeking an Experienced Lead Warehouse Professional to join our team. This position involves performing a variety of general warehouse duties, including receiving, staging, and material handling. The role also includes loading and unloading tasks, making deliveries and pick-ups while maintaining high customer service. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple production teams, and performing some duties outside in all weather conditions.

Fleet management and logistic experience is a plus.

Salary: $26-$28/hr depending on experience.

• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Work closely with multiple production teams to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
• Effectively communicate during each stage of the process, by tracking, tracing, and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Efficiently handle and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Accurately stage materials and handle them safely, preparing items for delivery or storage.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring items are handled with care and properly accounted for.
• Conduct scheduled deliveries and pick-ups, prioritizing customer service and timely execution.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including stock counts and inventory tracking.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including cleaning and stocking supplies.
• Participate in various special projects as assigned by management.
• Able to prioritize and strategize as needed according to urgency. Manage time effectively.
• Ability to delegate while also collaborating and personally taking initiative on tasks.

• High school diploma/GED.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Experience supervising others.
• Must be able to bend, stand all day and lift heavy boxes.
• Well-organized, able to multitask but also attention to detail.
• Ability to think quickly and resolve issues.
• Previous warehouse experience; good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Computer skills such as Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Superior organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• HVAC knowledge is a plus.

• This position requires a valid driver’s license.
• Employment/education will be verified.

Hourly range: $26-$28/hr, discretionary quarterly bonus, full benefits (health, 401K match, discounted gym membership, etc.).
