The State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is currently recruiting for one (1) part-time 2nd Shift Custodian position at Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, CT.

If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments, we invite you to join the team at Henry Abbott Technical High School. As a Custodian, you will play an essential role in supporting students, staff, and visitors by ensuring that classrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and ready for daily activities. From performing routine cleaning and floor care to reporting repair needs and completing minor maintenance tasks, your work will contribute directly to a positive learning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who values teamwork, takes initiative, and is committed to providing exceptional service while helping maintain a safe and attractive school campus.

Position Highlights:

* Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, CT

* Part-time | 2nd Shift | 32.5 Hours per week

* Monday - Friday | 2:30 pm - 9:30 pm

* This is a year-round position.

* This position will be assigned to 1st shift during summer break, returning to the regular 2nd shift schedule when school resumes in August.

* Please Note:

Permanent part-time employees are eligible for benefits and accrue vacation and sick leave in accordance with the number of hours they work.
