Manager of Maintenance
Allegheny East Conference is seeking a Manager of Maintenance to perform and manage a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for conference headquarters facilities, equipment, and grounds.

• Minor electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Plumbing repairs as identified or assigned.
• Moving furniture as part of an event set-up as assigned.
• Moving furniture to assist with office arrangements.
• Perform equipment repair or recommend outsourcing.
• On-call backup as needed on some weekends.
• Clears snow and ice from roads, driveways, parking lots, and sidewalks for conference office property, including Pine Forge Academy. Applies deicers as needed.
• Assist with or perform minor furniture repairs.

• Must acknowledge and accept the principles, beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in regular standing.
• Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in building and equipment maintenance.
• Ability and skill in the use of standard equipment and hand tools peculiar to the area of assignment.
• Knowledge of the principles of carpentry and plumbing. Knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing effectively.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to use good judgment.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience may be substituted for education.

Four years of experience in the maintenance and carpentry field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
