As a Semi‑Skilled Laborer, you will perform a wide range of tasks related to maintaining the hospital. Your duties will include:

• Repairing heating and plumbing systems.
• Painting and electrical work.
• Assisting steamfitters in the boiler plant.
• Performing roadwork repair and groundskeeping duties.
• Utilizing hand and power tools, and operating equipment.
• Maintaining laundry equipment.
• Clearing snow from sidewalks and parking lots.
• Cleaning various systems and areas around the hospital.

• Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
• Work hours:
  
  2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday‑Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.
• Work hours may change based on operational needs.
• Travel and overtime as needed.

• One year of experience in laboring work that involves use of tools and equipment for maintenance or construction; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid PA non‑commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
• Meeting PA residency requirement.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
• Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance.
