About this positionRole: Responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, appearance, and operational readiness of Credit Union facilities, grounds, equipment, and fleet vehicles. Coordinates preventive maintenance, repairs, contractor services, and facility-related projects to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient environment for employees and members. Provides courier services, manages facilities supply inventories, and supports custodial and maintenance activities.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Coordinates and performs preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, inspections and custodial support for all Credit Union facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operations. Communicates with Market Managers to relay work response schedule and ensure preparedness and minimal service interruptions for staff and members.
- Manages vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring services are completed in accordance with contracts, schedules, and quality standards.
- Investigates and resolves facility-related issues, contractor concerns, and maintenance service interruptions in a timely manner.
- Provides courier and delivery services, including transportation of mail, supplies, packages, and interoffice materials between branch locations and the post office.
- Maintains inventory and distribution of facility maintenance supplies, equipment, and related materials.
- Maintains Credit Union fleet vehicles, including scheduling maintenance, inspections, repairs, registrations, and related recordkeeping.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
- Responsible for the maintenance, preservation and improvement of the credit union's property in order to provide a safe and comfortable environment for employees and members.
- Supports business continuity and emergency response efforts by coordinating facility readiness, repairs, and restoration activities during facility disruptions or emergency events. Monitors and responds to various alarms and system alerts, some occurring outside of business hours.
- Manage and respond to all maintenance requests at branch locations.
- Serves as primary contact for various companies; scheduling and monitoring service and deliveries. (i.e. shredding, cleaning services, carpets/mats, etc.)
- Maintains, monitors, inspects, troubleshoots, and coordinates repair of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, septic, fire protection, elevator, generator, security, ATMs/ITMs, and drive-up systems.
- Ensures compliance with applicable OSHA, environmental, safety, and facility-related regulations and standards. Identifies and reports facility safety hazards and recommends corrective actions to minimize operational risk.
- Ensure all maintenance agreements and leases are current. Maintain complete and accurate vendor, facilities, maintenance and equipment files per company requirements.
- Perform maintenance and repair on small office equipment and facilities. (i.e. shredder repair, laminators, office furniture, locks, drawers, installation of keyboard trays, painting projects, grounds keeping, etc.).
- Supports the Security Officer in maintaining the effectiveness of physical security systems, including access control, alarm monitoring, surveillance systems, and related facilities security measures.
- Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, support facility development projects, including new branch construction, renovations, relocations, and other capital improvements.
- Communicates to local governments in regard to ordinances governing zoning, signage, setbacks, etc.
- Maintain credit union vehicle fleet. Schedule regular maintenance and service inspections, repairs, registration renewal, etc.
- Provide courier service for all branch locations. Pick up and deliver mail, supplies and packages to all credit union branches and to the post office on a regular schedule. Sort and distribute mail, inter-office correspondence and deliveries.
- Procures, inventories, and distributes facility maintenance supplies and equipment to branch locations.
- Coordinate the recycling of cardboard, newspapers, magazines, plastic, cans and glass as required by each branch/locality.
- Maintain a working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions related to maintenance work.
- Consistently demonstrate the safe and effective use of hand tools, portable power tools, and equipment needed in building maintenance and repair work.
- Provide regular updates to the Chief Administrative Officer regarding key maintenance or operating issues affecting the credit union.
- Assist with preparation and set up for credit union special events. (i.e. golf tournament, company picnic, annual meeting, branch events, etc.)
