Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Environmental Services (EVS) and Operations, the PM Specialist ensures work orders, preventive maintenance (PM), and other projects are on track and completed on time.
Essential Functions- Manage School Dude and Pro Core, the work order and PM programs.
- Assign work orders to the appropriate trade.
- Ensure work is complete prior to closing work orders.
- Ensure work orders are filled out fully by tradespeople.
- Schedule and coordinate large moves.
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries.
- Pull supplies from the warehouse.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director and Assistant Director of EVS and Operations, including grounds cleanup due to inclement weather and special projects.
- Knowledge of methods and skills used in repairing electrical and mechanical components, DDC, boilers, hot water/steam piping, and functioning of air‑conditioning units, systems, equipment, and application‑specific and basic computer programs.
- Knowledge of common hazards and necessary safety precautions.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national codes.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school officials and staff, co‑workers, and the public.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
High School Graduate. At least 5 years of experience working in a school system. Computer experience. Experience with School Dude work order system is a plus.
Physical Conditions and Work Contacts- Indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing temperatures.
- Work around and with machinery and motorized equipment.
- Changing priorities and interruptions.
- Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, turning, and twisting.
- Occasional carrying, pushing, or pulling boxes.
- Clarity of vision at varying distances to observe diagnostic instruments, manuals, and other printed information.
- Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner.
- Perform physically demanding work.
Will be evaluated annually based on effectiveness in carrying out the above responsibilities.

Salary$22.15 to $34.77 per hour
