Porter, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery and maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work areas.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and storing tools and equipment in their proper locations.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre‑wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
• Clean exterior and interior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Customer service abilities.
• Positive attitude.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Willingness to learn.

• Pulling/pushing and carrying.
• Walking, sitting and standing for 5+ minutes.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl for up to 1 hour.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work near moving mechanical parts.

Hourly $14 - $20 / Hour
