• Perform day‑to‑day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

• CHEST certification is required; training will be provided on the job and must be completed within six months of employment.
• Proficient use of cleaning equipment and supplies, including preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Knowledge and application of cleaning instructions according to policies and procedures.
• Demonstration of competencies as defined by the agency.
