The General Mechanic Apprenticeship at Arconic Davenport Works is a developmental position with a career path to becoming a qualified Journey-Level General Mechanic. Candidates will enter a training program that includes classroom and on-the-job training. To progress to a Journey-Level General Mechanic, candidates must complete an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and pass journey-level testing requirements.
Requirements:
- Ability to work a 24x7 alternate work schedule
- Willingness to work off-shifts
- Agreement to a repayment contract requiring 3 years of service at Arconic after completing the program
