Facilities Specialist
Salary range for this role is $26-$40/hr.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Processes work orders for minor repairs, maintenance, and light housekeeping of building including, but not limited to:
- Cleanliness of Parking Lots, Sidewalks, Curbs
- Security and Fire Alarm System
- Trash Removal
- Rearrangement of Furniture and/or Equipment
- Sweeping, Mopping and Carpet cleaning as requested
- Painting, Hanging Drywall and Wallpapering
- Carpentry and Light Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC Work
- Utilization of various software systems including but not limited to Security, HVAC, and time clock programs.
- Performs maintenance as needed.
- Purchases building supplies and maintains related inventories.
- Responds to security calls at all hours.
- Provides oversight of day-to-day departmental activities in absence of Coordinator, including work orders and Facilities Assistant
Facilities Specialist Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License (No more than 4 moving violations is last 3 years) as well as auto insurance.
- Willing to travel within the QC Metro Area, including Clinton and Muscatine areas.
- 3-5 years minimum in Building Maintenance, knowledge of computers helpful.
- Reliable personal vehicle and personal hand tools available for work use are required.
