Regional Hotel Maintenance Technician at Seva Hospitality Dayton, OH

Job Description

Join the Seva Hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Technician servicing Marriott and Hilton hotels in Troy, OH. The role oversees the Home2 Suites, Hampton Inn, and Spring Hill Suites locations and requires travel between sites.

• Perform immediate work orders reported by the Operations Team.
• Diagnose various issues and utilize resources to find solutions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks such as changing filters and belts, cleaning condenser coils and ice machines.
• Maintain a basic understanding of HVAC, kitchen equipment, and ice machine maintenance.
• Assist in learning swimming pool maintenance, water chemistry, and pool cleaning.
• Learn troubleshooting for HVAC, kitchen equipment, and ice machine repair.
• Learn electronic door lock programming and troubleshooting.
• Repair or replace all types of hardware in guest rooms and public areas.
• Clean all engineering areas and maintain neat, efficient organization.
• Evaluate the inventory monthly to ensure key maintenance supplies are in stock and report to the supervisor.
• Plunge toilets, unclog drains, and replace light bulbs.
• Use a carpet cleaning machine on all carpeted areas and upholstery.
• Perform light landscaping: trimming bushes, shrubs, and trees.
• Paint and drywall repair.
• Maintain and repair electrical and plumbing equipment.
• Complete all work orders in a timely manner and track them appropriately.

• At least two years of hotel or apartment maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong teamwork and cooperation with corporate office staff and all hotel departments.

Day shift (8-hour) Monday to Friday with some weekend availability. On-call duties as needed.

Reports to the Director of Maintenance & General Manager. Works cooperatively with corporate office staff and promotes a positive work relationship with all hotel departments.
