Facilities Maintenance Technician

This entry‑level Facilities Maintenance Technician position at ABM Industries in Moraine, OH supports 10 regional AES Ohio locations. The role involves general repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep across multiple sites.

• Perform general building repairs such as drywall patching, painting, door, window, and flooring repairs.
• Complete basic plumbing maintenance, including clearing clogs, repairing minor leaks, and replacing fixtures.
• Execute basic electrical tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixtures.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Move furniture, unload supplies, perform trash removal, and support general grounds upkeep.
• Travel between multiple sites using company‑provided vehicles.
• Assist with event setup and teardown, including tables, chairs, and layouts.
• Escort vendors on site as needed.
• Accurately complete work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection documentation via mobile device.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift at least fifty pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and wrenches.
• Prior maintenance, construction, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

1900 Dryden Road, Moraine, OH (supporting 10 AES Ohio sites in the Dayton area)

Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, plus on‑call rotation based on seniority.

$23.28 per hour (hourly range applicable).
