Job SummaryWe are hiring Custodians to help keep things clean and running smoothly. Whether you have previous cleaning experience or not, we will train you and ensure you feel confident every step of the way.
Location: Wright Patterson AFB
Shift: Day Shift
Responsibilities- Check in with supervisor and teammates to review the cleaning plan for the day.
- Gather required cleaning supplies such as mops, brooms, vacuums, and disinfectants.
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Removing trash and replacing bags.
- Cleaning restrooms, refilling supplies, wiping surfaces, dusting furniture, wiping windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
- Conduct a final walkthrough of the area to ensure it is clean and neat.
- Return tools and supplies to storage and prepare for the next shift.
- Willingness to learn new tasks.
- Ability to work well with teammates and supervisor.

- Ability to stay focused and try your best.

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Repetitive motions such as mopping, sweeping, wiping, and scrubbing.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies up to 25–30 pounds.
- Navigate stairs, ramps, or uneven flooring safely while carrying tools or supplies.
- Work primarily indoors in commercial buildings with varying temperature and lighting conditions.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and solvents – training and PPE required.
- Possible exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, and typical indoor environmental factors.
- Potential encounter with biohazardous materials or bodily fluids (especially in healthcare or public restrooms) – proper safety protocols and PPE in place.
- Work in confined or awkward spaces such as under sinks, behind furniture, or inside equipment areas may be required.
- Noise from vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other cleaning machinery; hearing protection provided when necessary.
