Floor Tech; part-time

Weekend availability is preferred.

• To be successful in this role you will protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms, and by being mindful of slip, trip and fall hazards. Preferred candidates are motivated, meticulous and able to work with numerous interruptions.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, and clean assigned areas of building, including carpeted, slick floor, and cement walkways.
• Provide slick floor services such as stripping, waxing, spray buffing, sweeping, and mopping, including proper edging on all floor surfaces.
• Clean baseboards throughout the facility and respond to floor care emergency calls—such as spills, body fluids, and markings—using proper equipment, always following universal precautions.
• Work involves pulling and pushing, carrying weight up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending, and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to above head.
• Maintain a professional and positive appearance and interact positively with supervisors, co‑workers, and client staff.
• Stay abreast of current laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices, and adapt to company and industry changes.

• Knowledge of English language.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Recent experience as a Floor Tech preferred.
• Familiarity with all floor care procedures, equipment, and products.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and be available as needed.
• Must meet all local health regulations, including drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.

• Requires regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Solid work history as a Floor Tech.
• Must live in the service area; no relocation costs.

This is a Part‑Time position: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, Weekends.
