* Job Description:

* + Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems

+ Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs

+ Keeps current on maintenance logs and documentation

+ Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition

+ Collaborates with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks do not interfere with operations

+ Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested

+ Assists in tests, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under direct supervision

+ Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on a daily basis and in a timely manner

+ Responds to emergency calls and takes call in accordance with facility needs

+ Performs other duties as assigned

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* - Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English [Required]

- Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals [Required]

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists [Required]

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes [Required]

- Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment [Required]

- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills [Required]

- Proficient in the operation of gas and electric outside equipment and tools [Preferred]

- Ability to read and understand work orders [Required]

- Ability to enter data in CMMS System [Required]

- Complete all work as assigned [Required]
