D & A Building Services is seeking a dedicated Night Lead Janitor to join our team in Daytona. This hands‑on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, well‑organized facilities and enjoys working independently. You'll be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks across our properties, ensuring that every space meets our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

This position offers consistent evening hours and the opportunity to make a visible impact through your skilled, detail‑oriented work.

• Perform and oversee janitorial, custodial and security tasks to maintain clean and safe buildings and grounds.
• Makes rounds of buildings and grounds at regular intervals at night; inspect doors, windows, and locks to see that they are properly and securely fastened; answers night telephone and doorbells.
• Locks and unlock buildings.
• Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; report needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring outside vendor services.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
• Coordinates the work of janitors by assigning, scheduling, and overseeing the completion of work.
• Trains new employees.
• Ensures quality control by inspecting work in progress and upon completion.
• Directs employees' strict adherence to prescribed cleaning and security techniques and practices.
• Determines appropriate cleaning materials, supplies, tools, and equipment needed to accomplish job; issues supplies, materials tools, and equipment to janitors.
• Makes recommendations for repair and improvements to buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Requisition s supplies, equipment, tools, and materials as needed.
• Maintain records as required.
• Performs related work as assigned.

• 1+ years janitorial experience
• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.
• Physical strength capable of lifting 30 lbs.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a clean background

Hourly Salary: $16.00

Schedule

• Monday to Friday; 6 pm to 11 pm
