Commercial Cleaner - Daytime - Daytona

In search of a commercial cleaner to clean offices and common areas in one building in daytime 3 days a week

Monday, Wednesday, Friday (9-11am shift).

Daily tasks will be cleaning restrooms, common areas, conference rooms and office, vacuuming and mopping floors, collecting and taking out trash, along with other cleaning duties.

This will total on average 6 hours a week.

Payroll cycle is every two weeks

We are looking for dedicated individuals to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our warehouse facilities during daytime hours, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our clients.

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following duties and responsibilities. Duties include but not limited to:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris and hazards.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness of storage areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
• Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames to ensure operational efficiency.

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
• Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
