Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties of classrooms, restrooms, shower and locker rooms, offices and other areas of the building.
• Lock and unlock building to provide security and entry of groups using the building.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Vacuum rugs, mop, sweep, wax floors, clean inside windows, clean boards, dust and wash walls and furniture.
• Be able to work with others.
• Report burned out lights.
• Perform minor repairs such as light fixtures, desks.
• Perform outside cleaning such as snow shoveling, grass cutting, window cleaning.
• Operate mechanized custodial equipment such as hand scrubbers, carpet shampooers.

Salaries: $15.00 per hour
. If hired permanently, rate increases to $18.24/hour
.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read chemical bottles.
• Positive attitude toward school staff members, students and public who use the facilities.
