CUSTODIAN VACANCY POSTING
District/Organization: Armada Area Schools
Position/Type: Other, full time
Salary: 18.69/hr
Custodian-Full Time Position, afternoon shift
QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma required. Maintenance skills certifications preferred but not required. Strong work ethic; ability to work with students, staff, and community in a positive manner. Experience and mechanical ability preferred, but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform regular custodial duties in assigned areas of the building.
- Perform duties to include maintenance, waste management, supply management, and safety.
- Assist in removing snow/applying salt to assigned entryways.
- Ensure outside doors and windows are locked for security during and after school each day.
- All other duties assigned by the Supervisor of Custodial/Maintenance or Building Principal.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Ability to communicate through e-mail, as well as knowledge of basic forms of technology.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
