Overview
The custodian is responsible for the optimal functioning of building systems including mechanical, fire/life safety, elevators, and other building services. The position involves managing a staff of maintenance personnel for building and grounds upkeep.
Employment- Full‑time
- Hourly rate: $16.50
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and fire/life safety systems.
- Ensure elevators and other building services operate safely and efficiently.
- Lead and direct a maintenance team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion.
- Supervise general custodial duties for building and grounds.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Experience in building maintenance and custodial services.
- Knowledge of mechanical and fire safety systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
