Industrial Cleaning Technician

We are looking for a reliable and physically capable Industrial Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role is primarily outdoors and involves cleaning silos, plant grounds, and industrial equipment.

This position involves removing dust, fluid leaks, debris, spider webs, wasp nests, and general upkeep of facility grounds. You will also perform light pest control and machine cleaning, use industrial vacuums, air hoses, and hand tools, and must be comfortable working at heights and climbing stairs up to 9 floors.

• Clean silos and surrounding structures using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility grounds, including removal of trash, debris, spider webs, and wasp nests.
• Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment per safety standards.
• Use industrial vacuums, air hoses, and hand tools.
• Wear and maintain proper PPE including fire‑resistant clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, steel‑toe boots, and work pants.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Climb stairs and ladders frequently, up to 9 floors.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.

• Comfortable working outdoors year‑round.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and climb stairs frequently.
• Experience in industrial or plant cleaning preferred, but not required.
• Safety‑conscious and dependable.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Pay range: $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Decatur, AL. The job is a contract-to-hire position.
