Electrical Multi-Craft Maintenance Positions Available
Polyplex offers electrical multi-craft maintenance positions with a starting pay range of $31 - $32, with a top out salary of $35. Polyplex provides a full line of benefits including BCBS of Alabama for medical, Guardian-Dental, and Eye Med-Vision. Additional benefits include team life, STD, LDT, and identity theft coverage at 100%. The company matches 3.5% of an employee's 6% contribution to the 401k.
Paid leave includes 80 hours of accrued vacation, 24 hours of accrued emergency leave, and 10 paid holidays. Shifts are 12-hour rotating/swing shifts.
The role of Process Maintenance Operator involves the periodic and breakdown electrical and mechanical maintenance of all equipment in the facility. This includes initiating periodic maintenance work, applying safety regulations, applying 5S conditions, assisting engineers in breakdown troubleshooting, supporting teams in the installation of new machines, executing all preventive maintenance and lubrication work orders, and participating in improvement activities. The role also includes conducting preventive maintenance and conditioning monitoring of equipment, analyzing losses to identify root causes, maintaining records of machine maintenance, and participating in breakdowns and shutdowns.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. An associate's degree in instrumentation, electrical, mechanical maintenance, or equivalent education is preferred. Industry experience:
At least two years of experience in manufacturing maintenance is preferred.
