Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our sheet metal manufacturing facility in Decatur, AL. This position is responsible for maintaining the building, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of manufacturing or maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid work history.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 19.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Monday through Friday)
- Perform routine building and facility maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
- Inspect facility equipment and identify repair needs.
- Maintain HVAC systems, lighting, and other building components.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding maintenance priorities.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
- Assist with facility improvements and special projects as needed.
Facilities Maintenance Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or maintenance experience required
- Experience with general facility maintenance
- Basic troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Good employment history required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
