- Decatur, IL*
* This is a full-time, hourly, 2nd or 3rd shift position.

** Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:*
* + Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers

+ Certification of performing A/C freon recovery and recharging, perform repairs on A/C

+ Perform brake repairs

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems

+ Mount and dismount tires

+ Perform diagnostics with laptop computer

+ Component replacement starters, alternators, and batteries

+ Cosmetic repairs, decals, reflective tape, fenders, and bumpers

+ Pressure test hydraulic systems and hose replacement

+ Perform Annual DOT inspections on tractors and trailers

+ Rebuild components

** To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:*
* + Follow and promote safe work environment.

+ Maintain a good attendance record. (No more than 3 days unexcused absent in calendar year).

+ Maintain good communications with all Trucking personnel.

+ Ability to work well with others.

+ Maintains good housekeeping.

+ Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily within employee's classification.

+ Perform job task within job standard time of classification.

+ Ability to perform job tasks by understanding and following work procedures.

+ Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems that apply to employee's classification.

+ Ability to pass all test required of classification.
